A note from the Founders

Shunya Collective is co-founded by long-time friends and collaborators, Tasneem and Hugo. After years of walking diverse spiritual paths — from Yoga to Tantra, corporate leadership to conscious festivals — we felt called to create a new kind of space: one that honors the integrity of Indian tradition while inviting a fresh, modern embodiment of its teachings.

We are not here to preach, convert, or entertain. We are here to transmit, distill, and serve — through elegant, intimate, and intentional offerings.

Shunya Collective is our shared prayer:

That in stillness, we meet the Truth. In emptiness, we remember who we are.

Our Vision is to create a contemporary sanctuary for ancient wisdom. We bridge timeless Indian spiritual traditions with the demands of modern life. In a world fueled by ambition and speed, we offer a rare pause — not as an escape, but as a return.

Our mission is to bring the depth of Indian mystical teachings into the hands of today’s leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries.

This is not a retreat. It’s a transformation.

Why Choose Us

Why Join Shunya Collective

In a world saturated with wellness workshops, retreats, and spiritual content, Shunya Collective stands apart in one essential way: We don’t offer temporary escapes we offer transformational tools that integrate into your daily life.

Our signature program is guided by deeply experienced facilitators, each carrying years of their own spiritual study and embodied practice. Their wisdom is enriched by direct guidance from masters and elders steeped in the ancient Indian scriptures, yet translated into a form that speaks clearly and simply to today’s seeker.

We break down profound teachings that have traditionally been passed down very selectively after an Initiation and Tapasya into simple, effective techniques, and send you home with a powerful daily practice. This isn’t philosophy. It’s practical inner alchemy, designed to help you re-center, re-align, and remember who you are.

Our work is especially relevant for those navigating the stress of high performance living business leaders, change-makers and visionaries who carry a lot and rarely pause.

And here’s what we’ve uncovered:

The real secret to restoring peace and joy in hectic modern lives is not more information.
It’s not even more motivation.
It’s nervous system regulation.

When your nervous system is calm, your mind becomes clear. Your emotions soften. Your heart opens. And from that space, the experience of Shunya stillness, silence, sacred emptiness naturally arises.

This is not just another event. This is a reset point for your inner world.

Choose Shunya Collective if you’re ready to stop fighting your life, and start flowing with it.

About the Founders

Tasneem Hamdani

Founder, Shunya Collective

Tantra Educator • Kundalini Expert • Embodiment Coach

Tasneem is a Tantra practitioner whose offerings combine her training in neo-Tantra from California, with her studies of Tantric scriptures from the Trika tradition of Kashmir.

She is passionate about experiencing and sharing how the subtle energies in our body can be channelized to connect with the Divine.

The energy body the Sukhshma Shareer is a portal to Cosmic Consciousness that can be accessed by de armoring the natural wisdom of our physical body. Her workshops & healing sessions provide a safe space to bring our instinctual nature out of the shadow into the Light, and open the heart to its infinite potential, so that Primordial Life Force Energy (Shakti) can fuel us toward ultimate Bliss (Ananda).

Tasneem is an advanced certified Tantra educator from Charles Muir’s Source School of Tantra Yoga (California), with 8+ years of practice.

She has also studied Feminine Arts Mastery with renowned author Regena Thomashauser (New York), Daoist healing techniques with master Mantak Chia (Chiang Mai), Himalayan Kundalini practices in Rishikesh, and Kashmir Shivaism from the lineages of Baba Mooktananda and Swami Laxman Joo (India).

Originally from India and having reconnected with the roots of Tantra, Tasneem now guides others who wish to experience the metaphysical through the Body, cultivate a healthy relationship with their own Energy, and bring mindfulness to connection with Self and others.

Hartaj Sahdra (Hugo)

Founder, Shunya Collective

Yoga & Breathwork Facilitator • Energy Worker • Transformation Guide

Hartaj Sahdra (Hugo) never set out to be a teacher.

For years, he was simply seeking searching for a sense of peace that no success, city, or title could offer. His journey began not in a temple or retreat, but in the quiet unraveling of questions most of us carry:

Who am I beneath all this doing? What would it mean to truly come home to myself?

Over the last 15+ years, this inquiry became his way of life.

What started as a personal inner journey gradually unfolded into a deeper calling. For more than a decade, Hartaj has guided others through Hatha Yoga, conscious Breathwork, energy activations, and transformative inner work sharing the same tools and practices that helped him find clarity, softness, and strength within.

His path is rooted in reverence, but also in realness. For him, healing is not a performance it is a return. To simplicity. To presence. To wholeness.

In 2007, Hartaj moved to Canada to pursue his master’s and spent the next few years living and working there through the global recession of 2008. That period reshaped his understanding of success, resilience, and purpose. Yet it was only after returning to India in 2012 that his deeper spiritual path truly opened. What began as personal inner work slowly revealed itself as a path of service one he continues to walk with sincerity and devotion.

Today, through Shunya Collective, Hartaj holds space for leaders, artists, and seekers to pause, breathe, remember and reawaken the parts of themselves they may have forgotten.

He does not claim to have all the answers. But he carries the maps he has walked and offers them, with honesty and devotion, to anyone who is ready to journey inward.
